My Late St. Patty's Day Nails!

I've been in Las Vegas for the past three days and just got back this morning. I was totally ready to post this on St. Patrick's Day, but for some reason my laptop wanted to import every photo, not just the new ones. I'm not sure why, I've never had a problem with it before. Anyways, I hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day! I didn't get lucky in Vegas, but I had a great time!

Without further ado, my St. Patty's Day nails! I painted them the day I left. The first two pictures are from the hotel and the last two are at home.

This combination is Sally Hansen Green With Envy and Sinful Colors Call You Later on top. I love it! This is my second time wearing Green With Envy and it's a great cream. The first time I wore it, OPI Glow Up Already was on top. I thought about using that combination again, but I purposely got Call You Later (only $0.99 at Walgreens!) for St. Patty's Day. To be honest, the formula wasn't bad but I had problems with it. Maybe I put it on when the cream wasn't dry enough but it dragged and smeared a little. Luckily, top coat evened things out. By the way, Wet N' Wild Show Me The Money from the new Spoiled line seems to be a dupe.

My nails didn't exactly give me the luck I was hoping for in Vegas, but I was happy with the nice comments I got on them! I hope the rest of you had a lucky day.

China Glaze Some Like It Haute

Hey, everyone! Hope you're having a great weekend so far. Today I have a post that almost never was. For some reason I kept going back and forth on Some Like It Haute from the China Glaze Eye Candy collection. I finally came to my senses and realized that it's a beautiful graphite glitter and unique to my collection, so I asked for it for Christmas.

I'm so glad I did because it's absolutely stunning and perfect! Great in the bottle, but even more amazing on and way better in person too. It was reallllly hard to choose my favorite pictures to add.

The unintentional blurry pic! What a happy accident.

I love that it's dark and edgy but still girly. The holographic glitter makes it amazing. It wouldn't be as great without it. The polish is thick, but not too bad. It was opaque for me in two coats. Like most glitters, it dried fast and was really gritty when it did, so I doubled up on top coat. I hardly had any clean up either which was awesome.

I definitely made the right choice in giving this one a try. I just may have to change my mind about Love Marilyn now.

Sinful Colors Mint Apple

I had help from my four year old niece for this post. I asked her which polish out of Essie Coat Azure, and Sinful Colors Rise and Shine and Mint Apple, I should wear. From the title, it's pretty obvious what she chose. I say she has great taste already! Now, more about Sinful Colors Mint Apple.

It's just what the name suggests, an apple mint polish. It's the perfect combination of both colors. It also has subtle silver shimmer. I've had it for almost two years and I'm not sure why it took me until now to wear it. It's absolutely beautiful!

Try to ignore my somewhat red hands. It's not as noticeable in person.

I wasn't having much hope based on how streaky and sheer it was on the first coat, but the second made it so much better. I used a third just to be careful. Application was a breeze. There's nothing better than a cheap polish with not only great color, but great formula.

If you couldn't tell, I love it. It's a Sinful Colors must have if you ask me!

OPI Excuse Moi!

I finally got around to wearing the only polish I picked up from the OPI Muppets collection: Excuse Moi! It's a sheer pink base loaded with pink and silver micro-glitter and larger rainbow glitter.

It's girly, but it's not your average pink glitter. The rainbow glitter adds something special and sets it apart. The formula was super good as well. It was opaque in two coats and it dried fast, as most glitters usually do. I topped it off with one coat of Color Club top coat to smooth it out.

I had trouble capturing its true pink color in the sun. It kind of looks washed out. I think the shade picture is a better representation, but it's not a hundred percent exact either. In some lighting, it looks more vibrant.

I'm super impressed! Great color and great formula, can't ask for anything more. It's basically what I wanted the other glitters in the collection to be like. I would have gotten them in a heartbeat if they were, but at least my wallet is happy.
