Candy Lacquer Peyton

Hey, Happy Friday! Any exciting plans for the weekend? All I know is that on Saturday I'm going to be watching the LA Kings game. I sure hope they win.

Anyway, two days ago I posted Hit Polish Breakfast @ Tiffany's. While it's a gorgeous color, I wanted to give it more oomph in the holo department, so I went for my bottle of Candy Lacquer Peyton. Here is the result!

Peyton is a strong holographic top coat. It is incredibly gorgeous! It totally takes Breakfast @ Tiffany's to next level and while it does change the base color slightly, it's just right and not too drastic. What I love most is that it doesn't make the base too silvery. It's amazing in the sun and looks great in indoor lighting as well. I just used one thin coat of Peyton. It took a while to get some pictures that showed just how amazing the holo in Peyton is. For some reason my camera kept dulling the effect.

This was taken in my bedroom.

It took me the longest time to get my hands on Peyton but finding it in a blog sale was well worth the wait! I already have several colors that I'm going to try it over. Sadly, it is long gone from Candy Lacquer but there are several indies who offer holo top coats. If you're a holo lover, you need one!

  1. Holo topcoats are great! I have to admit that I paid $12 + shipping for my holo topcoat xD I rarely use it anymore but this post reminds me that I should pull it out haha!

    1. I agree, they are! I have three of them but Peyton is the first I've tried and I love it! It's hard not to want to top it over every creme I have, especially when it's nice and sunny here.

  2. Ooh, what a pretty combination! I love, love just about any and every Tiffany blue polish, and it's nice that Peyton doesn't change the colour too much. These look great together!

    1. Thank you! I'm glad you like it. I'm so glad it doesn't change the color too much. I made sure to use thin coats just in case.

    1. Thank you so much! They really are! I kind of have a hard time resisting blog sales. I've gotten so many beautiful polishes from them, especially ones I never thought I'd get my hands on.

  4. What a lovely blue holo you created! Nothing beats a good holo top coat. How was the game? My weekend didn't turn out as planned but ended on a good note. Gotta love that!

    1. Thank you Thithi! They really are awesome. I already have a bunch of colors I'm planning to use it over. I actually didn't go to the game, but I did go to an awesome sports bar/restaurant with my mom and niece and we watched the game there. It was packed with Kings fans, which was awesome. They won, so that made me happy. I'm glad your weekend ended on a good note!
