Pahlish Mystery Polish: Like Autumn Leaves

For those of you that don't already know, the indie brand Pahlish now offers mystery polishes. They consist of test colors, prototypes, colors that never got released, and "oops" batches. They are pretty affordable at only $6 a bottle (previously $5). I've only ordered two and today I have the first one for you. Since these are mystery polishes, they have no names and therefore you can name them anything you want, which is always fun. Anyway, here is mine: Like Autumn Leaves.

I named this Like Autumn Leaves because the color screams fall to me and makes me think of the colors leaves turn when fall arrives. The name also comes from an Ed Sheeran song called Autumn Leaves. I love his music, so it was only fitting. It's a beige base that has the prettiest pink shimmer, red coppery micro-flakies, and orange and yellow glitter. I'll be honest, it's not exactly a me color but I really do like it. It's pretty and unlike anything I own or have ever seen. The shimmer is my favorite part about this polish. It's shy in pictures but totally visible in person. I also really love the flakies. Formula wise, it was great. I had no problems with application. I only used two coats and two coats of top coat.

I'm happy to have this mystery Pahlish, Like Autumn Leaves. It's not only perfect for Fall but it will make a nice palette cleanser when I'm in the need of one. I think these mystery polishes are such a cool idea and totally worth the money. The other one I have is super pretty, I can't wait to wear it.

Pahlish Lady of Raynham Hall

Halloween is almost here and I still have a few themed polishes that I want to wear before it's over. Today I have one and it's Pahlish Lady of Raynham Hall, which happened to be the first Pahlish I ever purchased. I got it this year when it was originally released on September 13th, which was Friday the 13th. It was only available on that day but it's actually available again for a limited time. Anyway, here it is!

Lady Of Raynham Hall is a "dove grey jelly with metallic gold sparks and spectral aqua blue shimmer." It is soooo beautiful. I absolutely love the gold flakes and the blue shimmer. They really take this polish to the next level. I keep staring at my nails to look at them. I also love the shade of grey. It's ghostly and perfect for Halloween. Formula wise, I did have a little trouble with it but it wasn't horrible by any means. It was just a little streaky on the first coat but other than that, it was good. I applied a coat of top coat as usual, which really made the flakes and shimmer pop. Speaking of top coat, I didn't apply any until about ten hours later. That wasn't intentional, I just got busy. That whole time, I didn't have a single chip or fading of any kind, which really impressed me.

I'm so happy with Lady of Raynham Hall! It's such a beauty and I love that it's not only perfect for Halloween but anytime of the year. If you originally missed out on this polish and you want it, I wouldn't hesitate since it is limited edition.

Apparently Lady of Raynham Hall will only be available until the 31st! After writing this post, I guess it sold out but good news for those that want it, it's going to be restocked tomorrow at 7pm central. However, there's only going to be 25 bottles listed and after that, it's gone. So if you want it, make sure to act quick!

Pahlish Train Underwater

Lately, I can't stop buying from blog sales! When you see something you want, it's too tempting to resist. That was what happened when I came across a bottle of Pahlish Train Underwater, my top lemming from the brand.

Train Underwater is a navy blue jelly with turquoise hex, red, pink, purple, and gold micro glitter, and holographic teal micro-glitter. It's stunning, in the bottle and on my nails! It all works perfectly together. I am really, really loving it. On top of that, it was also really easy to apply. Despite being a jelly it had nice coverage on the first coat alone. It was opaque at two coats but I added a third just to be safe. It dried relatively smooth, but I still needed two coats of top coat to get it glassy smooth.

I'm so happy with Train Underwater! If you've never tried Pahlish before, I highly recommend getting this one on your first purchase! It's one of their classics that is popular for a reason.
