Sation Plenty of Frogs & Orly Monster Mash

Today I have a St. Patrick's Day look that I actually wore about two weeks ago and have been meaning to post. Here is Sation Plenty of Frogs and Orly Monster Mash!

Plenty of Frogs is a grassy green with what I believe is a gold shimmer. It was love at first stroke with this polish. It's so pretty and was a breeze to apply. I used three coats. I then layered one coat of Orly Monster Mash on top. It's a beautiful green glitter and not only that but the hexes and bar glitters are holographic! It had great coverage in just the one coat. I topped  everything off with one coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri and one coat of my Orly top coat for a glassy smooth finish.

Here is Sation Plenty Of Frogs by itself.

I absolutely love these two together! They make for a gorgeous combination that is perfect for St. Patrick's Day. I have another St. Patrick's Day look that I'm hoping to post tomorrow! Thank you for stopping by. I hope you've had a great weekend so far.

Sation Lollipop! Goes The Princess

Hey! I'm off for a few days, so I've finally had some spare time to do my nails. Today I have a really simple but pretty creme to show you. Sation Lollipop! Goes The Princess probably has one of the cutest polish names I've come across. It's from their 2013 collection Candylandia. It's a very pretty lavender creme. It applied like a dream in two easy breezy coats, dried fairly fast, and I barely had any clean up.

However, something very weird happened when I added a coat of my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat. It went from being a super light purple, which almost looked blue, to a darker lavender shade. When compared to the color in the bottle and my right hand thumb, which had no top coat at the time, they looked like two completely different colors. It looks as if I've layered a sheer purple jelly on top. It's hard to tell in my photos but it's much more noticeable in person. I've never had a problem with my top coat before, so I'm not sure what caused this.

Despite the weirdness I experienced with this polish, the color is still gorgeous! I love purple, so obviously I love it. Next time I will test out my top coat to see if I come across the same problem. I'm going to look for a pretty glitter to use on top and then I'll be back with another post. Until then, I hope you're having a great weekend!

Sation Chocolate Chip Resistant

Every time I take off my polish, it's super hard to decide which one to wear next. I was almost tempted to wear another indie after taking off Darling Diva Bitches Have Birthdays, but I decided that I should stop neglecting my drugstore/mainstream brands. Therefore, I finally settled on Sation Chocolate Chip Resistant.

Chocolate Chip Resistant comes from the Candylandia collection and it's a peachy nude with gorgeous but subtle shimmer. It was the shimmer that made me want this polish when I first saw a swatch of it, even if it is hidden. But it also happens to be a beautiful nude and before this one, I had zero to none in my possession. I like the way it looks on me. I think it works with my skin tone. The formula wasn't terrible either. I've had some issues with cremes in the past, but this one wasn't bad at all. It was a little streaky on the first coat, but by the second, it was a lot better. I used three coats in the end, but that's pretty typical for a pale shade like this. I didn't use top coat for my pictures, because I'm planning on using a glitter over it, which I'll be posting soon.

You can really see the gorgeous shimmer in this picture!

I'm very happy with my first experience wearing a Sation. Chocolate Chip Resistant is a gorgeous nude if you're ever in need of one. I have a handful of other Sations that I need to wear and post soon, not to mention I want a ton of their gorgeous glitters.

Las Vegas Haul!

First off, happy birthday to my mom! Here is the second haul I had originally wanted to post a few weeks back after my Las Vegas vacation. I already knew that when I went to Vegas, I wanted to hit up the ABC Store and the beauty supply store. I was prepared to bring home some polish, but the rest I got mainly on a whim. Anyway, I came home with 23 new beauties and here they are!

 ABC Store:

Island Girl polishes: Diamond Head Breeze, Honolulu Orchid, and Island Color.

Beauty supply store:

China Glaze Emerald Sparkle, China Glaze Sea Spray, Dare To Wear Ready For My Close-Up , Morgan Taylor Let Them Eat Cake, Morgan Taylor Make A Statement, and Morgan Taylor Under The Stars.

Nabi Multi Jumbo Glitter, Sation Most Hue-nique, OPI Liquid Sand Get Your Number, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, and OPI Pirouette My Whistle.

Marshall's:

Sation Just Lilac That, Sation Plenty of Frogs, and SpaRitual Deep Shimmer.

ULTA:

China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, China Glaze Orange You Hot?, Essence Chic Reloaded, Essence Hello Marshmallow, Essence Oh My Glitter, and ULTA Blues Cruise.

As you can see, I have a lot of new polishes that I need to start wearing ASAP. I'm probably most excited to try out the Essence's, since they are my first and hopefully not my last. Thanks for taking a look!

TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Burlington Coat Factory, Sephora, and indie haul!

I mentioned on Thursday that I went shopping and bought 19 polishes. I went to TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Burlington Coat Factory, and Sephora. I went back to Sephora the next day and came home with six new polishes. I also received an order from Pretty & Polished and Smitten polish about a week ago and a KBShimmer order on Friday. I figured it was no better time than to do a haul post!

TJ Maxx:

Barielle 5 pack with Swizzle Stick, Falling Star, Snow Day, Jordana's Skinny Jeans, and Out-Grey-Geous- $7.99. My huge lemming for Falling Star has officially been killed! I was incredibly excited to find it.

OPI 2 Pack with Stranger Tides and Skull and Glossbones- $7.99. Big lemmings killed with this pack!

Marshall's:

Orly Perfect Pair Pack with Go Deeper and Monster Mash- $6.99. There were so many awesome Orly packs to choose from but it was perfect that this one has the two FX glitters that I have been wanting the most.

Sation Nail Lacquer in Lollipop! Goes The Princess, Love Is In The Heir, and Chocolate Chip Resistant- $2.99 each. These are my first polishes from Sation, so I'm excited to try them.

OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener and an OPI bangle bracelet- $6.00. I saw this on my previous trip to Marshall's but I couldn't pass it up this time as it was on clearance and it was the last set. The bracelet it comes with is super cute!

Burlington Coat Factory:

Color Club Halo Hues in Blue Heaven, Cloud Nine, Angel Kiss, and Cherubic- $3.98 each. I almost didn't go to Burlington but was so happy that I did. I was going to get these no matter the price but was shocked to find out that they were so cheap.

Sephora:

Sephora by OPI Looks Like Rain Dear, Mauve-ie Star In The Making, Traffic Stopper Copper, I'm With Brad, Just A Little Dangerous (totally forgot to get a picture of this one, sorry!), and It's Real 18k Gold Top Coat (x3)- $4.50 each. This brand is being discontinued, so I have been taking full advantage of it. These all come from three different Sephora's, at two different malls. One of the stores was in JCPenney's. Like I mentioned in my previous post, the It's Real 18k Gold Top Coat were also $4.50, originally $30.

Pretty & Polished:

Punk'd Up Betty, Boy Bleu, and Sand Art- $7.00 each, plus shipping. I've been wanting these polishes for the longest time and when I found out that they were going to be discontinued from the brand once sold out, I finally got them for myself. As of right now Sand Art and Boy Bleu are still in stock.

Smitten Polish:

Candy Kisses-9.00, plus shipping. This polish is so cute! I didn't think Noelie was creating this one anymore, so I had to get it when I saw it listed in her shop.

KBShimmer:

Proud Peacock and Sugar Plum Faerie- $8.75 each and The Peach Pit and Field of Greens- $5.00 each, plus shipping. Sugar Plum Faerie and Proud Peacock are core colors, but The Peach Pit and Field of Greens are from the recently released super special edition Misfits collection. They're actually sold out and won't be produced again.

So that's it for now! I don't feel incredibly guilty for these purchases, because most everything I bought was for a deal and in a way, I feel like it justifies my spending. I usually don't post prices in my haul, but I wanted to share my awesome deals with you! I have decided that I'm not going to be putting myself on a no buy, because it clearly does not work.
