Before I show you the polish I have for today, let me just say that my new top coat, Rica Glossy Glam rocks and from my experience, totally works! My St. Patrick's mani lasted up to five days without a single chip but now there's a few more. So, I'm actually camping right now with my family! I left on Saturday afternoon but I won't be back until Thursday. I planned to do my nails before leaving but I decided to leave my St. Patrick's Day polish on.
Today I have a I wore many weeks ago but am only now posting about. It also marks the shortest amount of time I've ever worn one which was ten minutes. I'll explain why down below. Just a warning, my pictures were taken in my bedroom so the lighting isn't the greatest. It's much prettier in person. Here's Nabi Multi Jumbo Glitter.
This glitter is a mix of blue hexes, silver micro glitter, and jumbo gold hexes. I found it in an awesome beauty supply store in Las Vegas during my trip there last summer. This was my first time wearing a Nabi polish, so I wasn't sure what to expect but it had a somewhat decent formula. It was a little hard to get out the hexes but after some fishing I got one for almost every nail. Now here's why I only wore it for ten minutes. The smell was so strong. It is much worse than a regular polish smell. I felt myself getting a little light headed, so I took it off.
So, I do like this polish but the smell was just too much for me. Maybe I'm overreacting but whatever the case, it bothered me.
By the way, here's my St. Patrick's mani on day five. I'm still in awe over how long it lasted.
I hope all of you had a great weekend and have an even better week! Thank you for stopping by.

Ack, I love the mani you wore for Saint Patrick's Day! :-D So how long did it last then?
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, I'm so glad you're having awesome results with this top coat! I'd never heard of it until you mentioned it.
ReplyDeleteHave fun camping!
Too bad about the smell. I think the glitters are very pretty and look great over the lighter base. And the second mani, love those circle glitters!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I love that you picked a gray base... it makes the glitters stand out so much. :) Bummer on the smell though... that would bother me too.
